Evaline Ettie Pearson

Mrs. Evaline Ettie Pearson, age 90, of Hart, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2013, at Mercy Health Partners Lakeshore Campus in Shelby. She was born June 15, 1922, in Owen, Wisconsin to Elijah and Ettie (Harvey) Holden. She was owned and operated the Crystal Valley General Store and was a Nursing Assistant at the Oceana County Medical Care Facility. On May 6, 1943, she married Paul Frishett at St. Joseph Catholic Church-Weare. After his death, she married Clarence Pearson and he also preceded her in death. She was a longtime member of St. Gregory Catholic Church.

Mrs. Pearson is survived by one daughter, Sharon (Roger) Bowen of Shelby; two sisters, Lois Adams of Hart, and Ruby (Randy) Loudermilk of Coopersville; one brother, Norman (Marge) Holden of Sparta, two grandchildren, Angela Dennert of Ludington and Jennifer (Ozell) Hickman of Arizona; son-in-law, Robert Dennert of Hart; step-son, Ray (Carol) Pearson of Hart; step-daughter, Rhonda (John) Drayton of Texas. She also has many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Paul Frishett; husband, Clarence Pearson; daughter, Donna Dennert; six brothers, John, Fred, Harold, Warren, Vernon, and Roy Holden, and four sisters, Pearl Holden, Dorothy Kokx, Lillian Wierich, and Hazel Griswold.

The Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Pearson will be offered Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Gregory Catholic Church with Fr. Thomas Schiller presiding. Interment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 6-8 p.m. at King Funeral Home. The family requests that any memorials be directed to Oceana County Medical Care Facility, 701 East Main, Hart, MI 49420.
