Miss Donna Jean Kerr, age 69, of Shelby passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2013. She was born April 13, 1943, in Crystal Township to Arthur and Cecilia (Szymanski) Kerr. Donna diligently worked toward her GED through Shelby High School Adult Education and she enjoyed puzzles.

Donna is survived by six sisters, Alice Fay of Texas, Onabelle (Ken) Klotz of Hart, Dolores Daul of Manistee, Edith Kerr of Manistee, Nina Helmer of School Section Lake, and Suzy Herrygers of Hart; four brothers, George (Georgetta) Kerr of School Section Lake, Emmet (Lila) Kerr of Muskegon, Roger (Jill) Kerr of Mt. Pleasant, and Karl (Mary Beth) Kerr-Smith of Muskegon; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Jeanette Kerr, and two brothers, Clarence Kerr, and Robert Frederick Kerr-Smith.

The Funeral Service for Miss Kerr will be held Saturday, January 19, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. at King Funeral Home in Hart with Rev. Dennis Hintz officiating. Interment will be in Brookside Cemetery in Scottville. Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 p.m. at King Funeral Home.
